I recently connected with The Pretty Peacock, and was asked to do a review of their Silver, Sweet Fortune Cookie Pendant. The idea behind this pendant is that you write your own wish, dream, or desire on a small slip of paper. You then carefully fold it up and slide it inside of the cookie. Then you sit back, and watch it all come true.
Each cookie has a gorgeous, ornate pattern embedded into the silver – true to Pretty Peacock style – which creates an elegant piece of unforgettable jewelry! The cookie measures roughly 3/4″ wide and 3/4″ tall (since each are handmade, the size can vary slightly). Each cookie is HAND FORMED just like a real fortune cookie out of 99.9% pure silver (fine silver) and is eco-friendly by nature. A sterling chain is included and is fully adjustable to 18″. Each pendant is packaged in a drawstring Pretty Peacock bag with a few slips of paper to get you started. There is also a card insert included explaining how to use the magic cookie. Everything is placed inside a cute, little take-out box to complete the ensemble.
This pendant is gorgeous and I love the idea of keeping a special message in it. I think it would be wonderful to give to a daughter or granddaughter with a special fortune, letting them know how special they are, and how much you love them. Great when girls are away from home for camp, boarding school, college, and events. They will always have a message close to their heart that tells them they are loved.
