Discover “The Explorers: The Door in the Alley” Book & #Giveaway

If you are looking for a great summer read for your 8-12 year old, check out this great book that arrived, hot off the presses, on April 25th! The Explorers: The Door In The Alley features a mysterious society, a secretive past, and a pig in a teeny hat.

This book by Adrienne Kress is the first book in a new middle-grade series for fans of The Name of This Book Is Secret, The Mysterious Benedict Society, and Series of Unfortunate Events. It doesn’t take more than a few pages to see why film rights have already been optioned by Disney!

The Explorers: The Door In The Alley is filled with adventure and danger. There are missing persons, hired thugs, a hidden box, a lost map, famous explorers, a risk-averse boy, and a girl on a mission. Not to mention secrets not meant for the faint of heart. But if you are feeling bold, or maybe even a little italic, and if you enjoy derring-dos (and doing dares), this just might be the story for you.

Adrienne Kress is a writer and an actress born and raised in Toronto. She is the daughter of two high school English teachers and credits them with her love of both writing and performing. Disney’s Pinocchio Arrives on Blu-ray and DVD Today!

Today is a great day because Disney’s timeless tale Pinocchio, winner of two Academy Awards, joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection! This classic film is ready to delight a whole new generation of dreamers with its masterful animation, unforgettable characters and award-winning music. The movie which inspired the world to wish upon a star,is available TODAY on Blu-ray and DVD with hours of new and classic bonus features.

We received this recently and I could not wait to share it with my youngest children who had never seen it. How fun to watch through their eyes as they discovered this classic movie for the first time! You can view the trailer HERE.

Proud To Be a PJ Masks Ambassador!

Life has been hectic and I realized I forgot to share some exciting news with all of you. I was selected to be a PJ Masks Ambassador. Do your kids watch PJ Masks on Disney Jr.? If you never heard of PJ Masks, it revolves around three 6-year-olds who during the day lead relatively normal lives. At bedtime everything changes, when they activate their bracelets which are linked to their pajamas and turn into PJ Masks! These little super heroes go on all kinds of adventures to solve mysteries, stop crimes, squash bad guys and learn important lessons along the way.

So what does this mean to you? It means, I will be bringing you the latest and greatest on all things PJ Masks. Find out about the newest products, episodes, events and so much more!

Baking Up #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate Party Treats-Easy Tutorial

We were chosen to show our #DisneySide in the hosting of a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate Party. When the big box arrived, the kids were really excited to see what was inside! You can see our unboxing post and video HERE.

Next it was time to plan the snacks. We made Mickey Mouse Dipped OREO cookies and Devils Food Cupcakes with Marshmallow frosting that were decorated to look like Mickey.
Mickey inspired cookies are a festive and fast to make. Just dip OREO Cookies in melted red candy wafers and then put white chocolate chips on them with the points cut off so they are a flat as possible. This is fast, easy and delicious.

Bake cupcakes and frost, top with 2 mini OREO cookies to look like ears and then decorate with colored sugar, decors or sprinkles for a festive touch.

They were a huge hit!!!
