Clear Mind, Peaceful Hearts Blog Tour & Starbucks Gift Card Giveaway #sp

I was selected to participate in the Clear, Mind, Peaceful Hearts Blog Tour and Giveaway for the Book and Starbucks gift card. I was so excited to receive the book as someone who struggles with runaway anxious thoughts, especially at night. Clear Mind, Peaceful Hearts is a book of 50 Devotions for sleeping well ina world full of worry. The book is written by Lysa TerKeurst and it is arranged into days from day 1 to day 50. You can watch my video below to learn more.

About the Book

What lies heaviest on your heart as you lay your head on your pillow? Are paralyzing
fear and anxiety stealing tomorrow’s peace? Listen to this invitation from Jesus:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you
rest” (Matthew 11:28 NIV). Experiencing this kind of rest won’t come from escapism,
more vacation days, or stuffing our feelings. Jesus Himself provides rest to our
weary souls. While He may not always fix everything right away, we can fix our
thoughts on His Word. In doing this, we can sleep at night with ease knowing that
God has it all under control.

Through the pages of Clear Mind, Peaceful Heart, written by New York Times best-
selling author Lysa TerKeurst and her friends at Proverbs 31 Ministries, you will be equipped to:

  • Quiet fearful and anxious thoughts that always seem to be the loudest before
bedtime by incorporating the Bible into your nightly routine
  • Find relief from the stress of daily obligations and pressures through 50 en-
couraging devotions and guided prayers written by women like you
  • Release the heaviness you feel about hard situations in your life so you can

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Jane Escapes to the Jungle of Individuality

Individuality makes us special. Childhood is a time when many children struggle with that individuality. Even though that specialness can be an asset in adulthood, it can feel like a hindrance in childhood. Helping our children celebrate what makes them special is so important. As a parent, I think helping our children recognize their individuality as an asset is essential to their self-esteem and image of themselves.

Today, I am so excited to share a book that truly shows that individuality is something we should embrace. Jennifer Nestor’s Golden Wizard Prize-Winning Book, “Jane Escapes to the Jungle of Individuality” follows a delightful girl named Jane as she wrestles with feeling different and experiencing bullying at school.

One day on the school bus, Jane escapes uncomfortable bullying in a daydream. In Jane’s daydream she travels to the Jungle of Individuality. In this special jungle, Jane meets animals with unique characteristics just like her! As Jane gets to know her new friends, she discovers that the things that make her special are something she should embrace. She also learns self-compassion and being brave when things get tough.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jennifer Nestor’s passion for writing grew out of her love for penning
poems, song lyrics, and short stories as a little girl. Now a marketing

an adult and considers writing one of the best parts of her career.
She’s always enjoyed the creativity and emotion of storytelling and is
truly thrilled to share new stories that encourage bravery in young
readers. Her mission as an author is to create imaginative books that
make a positive impact and promote diverse characters who acquire
strength, courage, and a sense of individuality through their
adventures.

Publisher’s Book Summary: This heartfelt adventure follows a young
girl named Jane as she tries to navigate the challenge of feeling
different in her own skin while experiencing bullying at school. Though
she is soft-spoken and quirky on the outside, she struggles on the
inside—desperately wanting to belong. Escaping from an uncomfortable
moment on the school bus, Jane has a vivid daydream where she enters the
Jungle of Individuality: a place filled with animals who all have unique
characteristics, just like herself. As she embarks on an incredible
journey of self-discovery with some new friends, she quickly realizes
her individuality is something she should embrace while also learning
self-compassion and being brave when things get tough.

Unshakable Moxie Giveaway

Faith is something I know I need in my life and it’s something I struggle with. After the loss of my oldest son and best friend, I NEED to have FAITH that I WILL see him again. I think I am not alone in that struggle and many of us want to grow stronger in our faith. With me, I am blessed to have friends who are there to lift me up and remind me of their deep faith. A special friend specifically tells me of the visions of Jesus they had that leave them convinced this life is not all there is.

I think many of us are searching for ways to connect with others in our faith and to strengthen our beliefs. I was thrilled to be selected to review and host a giveaway for, “Unshakable Moxie – Growing a Resilient Faith.”

Our Daily Bread Ministries sent me a prayer journal, prayer cards and 6-Session Women’s Bible Study Book. The way this works is that you go through six sessions in the book. Each session lists the week’s Bible Study Goals, Personal Goals, Memory Verse, Writing Prompts and a QR code for you to scan and watch a video. After watching the video the book has questions about the women in the video along with Bible study, readings and other writing prompts.

I was just sent this Unbreakable Moxie Kit so I am brand new to this but I am super excited to start. I will post an update when I am halfway through and another when I finish the six weeks.

You can check out a trailer here:

Unshakable Moxie is a powerful Bible study and 6-episode video series from Our Daily Bread Ministries that explores tough topics including forgiveness, disillusionment, and hardship. When answers don’t come easy, these resources press in deeply to see what Scripture reveals to encourage women to grow in their faith amid challenging circumstances. Lina AbuJamra, who shares her heart in this Bible study, is a woman of moxie who draws inspiration from her life experiences and teaches women how to build their own resilient faith. Each chapter contains a QR code linking to the Unshakable Moxie video series where hosts Moriah Smallbone and Toni Collier take you on faith journeys with special guests including Joni Eareckson Tada, Ruth Chou Simons, and more.

Enter below for a chance to win the Unshakable Moxie Study Pack & $20 Amazon Gift Card! Thanks to Our Daily Bread Ministries for providing our Unshakable Moxie Kit and the Winner’s Kit. Open to US Residents.

What People are Saying About Unshakable Moxie:

This episode was life-changing for me and spoke so loud for me! Thank you for putting into words how I have been feeling. Love this whole series but adore this one! — Unshakable Moxie viewer

I am loving this series!!! I have to say what I am learning so far is teaching me so many lessons in life from so many different perspectives. — Unshakable Moxie viewer

This series was such a blessing to me! I’m inspired, motivated, and desiring to be a woman of unshakable moxie. I love this. Today I started memorizing God’s promises in scripture and claiming them over my and my family’s life! Thanks for that tip, Joni. Thank you to Our Daily Bread Ministries for producing this…will be sharing and re-watching for sure! — Unshakable Moxie ViewerI

I’m SO sorry this journey is over. It has seriously been a blessing. I believe my biggest takeaway is (or biggest two takeaways are) (1) God is with us (me) in the messy and He’s not afraid or upset or running away from it! He meets me in the messy. He’s not afraid of my questions. He wants to hear about my turmoil; He invites it; He loves me. (2) Having questions doesn’t make me a weak Christian; it’s precursory to me having a strong faith. I have to be willing to dive in it with Him, knowing He won’t forsake me as I go. In my weakness, He excels in strength. Thank you for this — Unshakable Moxie Viewer
