Jazz Loves Disney and You Will Love This Album! #JazzLovesDisney

Are you a Disney music lover? Did you know Walt Disney loved Jazz? He did and he paid great attention to the writing of music accompanying his hero’s adventures. Songs were written and played to act as a catalyst of emotions and personalities for his unique characters like, Jiminy Cricket, Baloo, Tinker Bell, Woody and more! I fondly remember Disney music in my life since I can remember. I grew up with it and love discovering it all over again through my kids. There is something about the music that just makes me smile. My favorites were track 7, “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” and Track 8 “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” but I really like them all. My kids love the album too and it is something we all like to listen to. I highly recommend it for Disney and jazz music fans.

Make Every Day Your Best Day Ever! #HolidayGiftGuide #Giveaway

One of my pet peeves is when people say they are “busy” because busy people can go around all day being busy and not get anything done. Have you seen those people? They spend the day rushing around, huffing and puffing, pounding on their computer keyboard, starting multiple tasks, complaining all the way but at the end of the day, they have accomplished next to nothing. Being busy is not good, you want to be productive!

I have found that time management is essential to getting things done. I actually teach a course for Mastering Time Management for bloggers and another for business professionals. Having a positive mindset is one thing I know helps me to manage everything I need to get accomplished each day. Whatever words you follow “I am” with, can set the tone for the moment, the day, your life. So instead of saying, “I am stressed, I am behind, I am overwhelmed” say, “I am going to accomplish great things today, I am blessed, I am healthy, I am productive.” You will be surprised how your thoughts can change the way you feel, the way you work and ultimately change your life!

Another big thing is to write it down and make it happen. It is easy to become distracted, especially if you are an adult with ADD. So keep a list every day. There are apps for this but I like a paper list because I feel it is more tangible. I actually write it down and I get to cross it off when it’s done which is a great feeling.

Our attitude sets our day, we cannot control all the situations that happen but we can control how we respond. Part of that is setting the tone for each day. Make every day your best day ever!

Update: Our tree was a bit delayed but arrived a few of days before Christmas. It was easy to set up and looked great when lit. We had family over from South Carolina and they were so enamored by it because of the crab trap wire they were familiar with. It was a lovely addition to our holiday decor and will be for many years to come we hope. I would love to get some more next year to arrange in the yard. Absolutely beautiful at night!

How To Fix Scratches and Chips in Your Car’s Paint-Flash #Giveaway

When you have a pearl or metallic paint, you will have an extra step in the repair process. If you don’t have a pearl or metallic paint on your vehicle, you will have only one paint step. The pearlescent finish like I have, is the most difficult finish due to the complexity of the paint. I felt confident because Chipex achieved very good results with their paint system, the two paints allow for results to be most like the original finish.

Weather was not on our side and I will be updating with a video and more photos of other repairs we did. It even covered up a pretty good size chip on my back bumper that my husband and I did just for kicks. We did not think it would really work for that but figured it could not look worse. We were very surprised that it really did a great job on it. We just have to polish it up and I will post the photos.

So, if it turned out this well on the most difficult paint finish, imagine how great it will work on other paint types! It is simple to repair as you basically just dab and spread the paint with the applicator, let dry and then polish with the polishing liquid and cloth. If you have the pearl paint like me, there is application of the pearl paint after the first paint dries. Then when that is dry, you proceed to the polishing step.
