ThinkFun Games, Swish Review & Give-Away!!!

If you are looking for a really fun game for ages 8 to adult that can be played by 1 or more players, then I have a great suggestion for you.  I love games that are fun but make you think and I was recently sent the game of Swish from Think Fun Games.  This great game is made of transparent cards and can be played alone or with multiple players.  Swish is great if you like visual puzzles and if you do, you will find that Swish is very addictive. Our family, especially my husband and I really love these kind of games because they are so fun but you are really thinking and you have to be quick to win.  The video below will show you how the game is played more than I could ever tell you here in just words.  So take a look at that now.

Swish is a spatial card game that challenges you to be the first to make matches, or “Swishes”. Swishes are made by layering as few as two or as many as 12 cards so that every ball swishes into a hoop of the same color. The cards must be placed on top of each other in the same orientation, and no ball or hoop can be left unmatched. The player with the most matches at the end of the game wins. Various levels of play make this card game addictively fun for all.

Mega Blocks Blok Squad, Construction Site Set Review!!! Holiday Gift Guide Pick!!!

Recently, I was asked to choose one of the new Mega Blocks Blok Squad Sets to review.  I chose the Construction Site Set.  I actually had forgotten about this review and the other night I was planning my son’s birthday cake.  We are going to do a construction site theme and the next day I received this set in the mail.  I was absolutely thrilled because it contains so many neat items that I can use first on top of his cake.  I am making him a large two layer sheet cake so I have plenty or room to create a great scene.  Then after we blow out the candles he will have an awesome play set.  I love all the little construction site detail pieces that it includes like the cones, shovels, wheelbarrows, toolbox, hand tools, construction men, barriers and work lights not to mention the great trucks.  I am really impressed with the detail of this set, it will certainly light up my son’s face when he sees this on his cake.  My little boys, like most love trucks, especially construction trucks.  With this set you can build a front loader, steam roller and a pick up truck with a trailer for carrying equipment to the job site.

The Orb Factory Enchanted Horses Jewelry Box Review and Give-Away!!!

When I was a little girl, I was in love with horses, I wanted everything that had to do with horses, I wanted to read about them, play with toy horses, wear clothes with horses on them, and that is just part of my obsession! I think a lot of girls love horses at some point of their childhood, my niece included!
I recently received this pretty little Enchanted Horses Jewelry Box from The Orb Factory to review.  This Jewelry Box is a young girls dream, it was certainly that for my niece.  This fantastic jewelry box is like a paint by numbers, except better! You use little stick on tiles and jems to create a horse mosaic which is a great craft activity for young girls!

My niece is 5, and doing this little project is helping her learn and memorize numbers! She loved the pretty jewel stickers and was proud of herself when she finished the mosaic. She and her younger sister especially loved adding jeweled stickers and tiles to the horses multicolored manes and the flowers that covered the box. My niece had fun creating the pretty picture on her own, and after it was finished, she had a pretty box to put her jewelry and treasures in!

I think a lot of girls love horses at some point of their childhood, my niece included!
I recently received this pretty little Enchanted Horses Jewelry Box from The Orb Factory to review.  This Jewelry Box is a young girls dream, it was certainly that for my niece.  This fantastic jewelry box is like a paint by numbers, except better! You use little stick on tiles and jems to create a horse mosaic which is a great craft activity for young girls!
My niece is 5, and doing this little project is helping her learn and memorize numbers! She loved the pretty jewel stickers and was proud of herself when she finished the mosaic. She and her younger sister especially loved adding jeweled stickers and tiles to the horses multicolored manes and the flowers that covered the box. My niece had fun creating the pretty picture on her own, and after it was finished, she had a pretty box to put her jewelry and treasures in!
