About Cinderella:
Everyone orders Cinderella around: her cruel stepmother, her awful step sisters — even the big clock in the church tower tells her when to start another day of drudgery. But they can’t stop her from dreaming, and Cinderella has faith that someday her wishes will come true. When an invitation to the royal ball arrives, Cinderella is sure her time has come — until her step sisters, with the encouragement of Lady Tremaine, tear her gown to shreds. Just when Cinderella believes all is lost, her Fairy Godmother appears, and with a wave of her wand and “Bibbidi-Bobbity-Boo,” transforms an ordinary pumpkin into a magnificent coach and Cinderella’s rags into a gorgeous gown, then sends her off to the Royal Ball. But Cinderella’s enchanted evening must end when the spell is broken at midnight. We received this Diamond Edition Cinderella for review. Cinderella has been a treasured part of our movie collection since it was available on VHS, then DVD, Blu-Ray and now the Diamond Edition. I have watched this movie so many times as a child myself, then with my older children and now with my little ones. Who could not like this movie? The mice are one of my favorite parts, chubby Gus Gus just steals my heart. Cinderella finally getting her dream come true after all the suffering at the hands of her step-mother and step-sisters is what fairy tales are all about. It will have you singing the songs all day. So Bibbidi-Bobbity and go get a copy and plan a wonderful nostalgic movie night with your family.
