Undercover Mama, Nursing Shirt Review and Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I was sent an Undercover Mama nursing undershirt a short time ago for review. I was intrigued by how it would work. As a breastfeeding mama, I’ve been waiting for a product like this, but was never able to find anything close until now! This strapless undershirt has little fasteners that are made to hook onto the clips of a nursing bra, so when you unlatch the bra cup to nurse, the tank top comes down with it. It also has small loops of rubber that you can attach it with as well for the bras that won’t work with the clips! Why is this so important? Why can’t I just use a regular tank top, or go without? Using a tank top under my shirt while nursing covers my side up so I can nurse my baby modestly, and using a regular tank top and just pulling it down stretches out the straps and ruins the shirt. They make nursing tank tops, and while those are nice, they don’t offer the support that nursing bras do, and when you are breastfeeding, you need the support! That is why I was so excited to receive this unique Undercover Mama, it offers everything I was looking for as a breastfeeding mother!

The Undercover Mama’s fabric is stretchy and tight, so it is noy baggy under my clothes like some I have tried. It is also long which is a must so that it covers everything while nursing! I got the black shirt, and it goes well with most of my clothes, I like how it covers me modestly when a shirt is too low!

Jacob Bromwell, Original Popcorn Popper Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently received an original Jacob Bromwell Original Popcorn Popper for review.  We have had our fireplace roaring lately, so we told the kiddies we were going to make popcorn on the fireplace after dinner.  They could not wait, my husband researched some ways to make kettle corn, so he got together a little concoction and we put some oil in the bottom of the popper and put some popcorn on top. We closed the lid and then shake, shake, shake over the fire.  In no time, the popping was heard and the kids were in awe.  We stopped somewhere in this process for my husband to add the ingredients for the kettle corn and then we continued popping.  As soon as we got it into a bowl, the munching commenced.  It was delicious, the best kettle corn ever!  The kids sat right in front of the fire and polished off that bowl. This is the first time we have ever made popcorn on the fire but I can tell you, it will quicky  become a weekend tradition in the Fall and Winter in this house.  It was a lot of fun and the end result was delicious.

Mommy Ramblings thinks this popper makes a great gift for the family.  We are putting it on our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide under Family Gifts!!!  Get your pop on with your family and have some fun!!!

After this picture we removed the label and instructions and washed the popper with soap and warm water.

Petit Jean Meats, Dallas Cowboys “1/2 Spiral Sliced Bone-in-Ham” Review & Give-Away!!! {Give-Away Ended}

I recently had the opportunity to review a Petit Jean Spiral Ham, the official ham and bacon of the Dallas Cowboys.  My husband cooked it the other night and it was delicious.  Super easy to prepare and it tasted great.  It was so good, it was literally attacked out of the oven by my older sons, and when I asked my husband if he had taken a picture, he gasped.  Anyway, it was a huge hit in this household.  I worry all the time about hams being too salty and this ham was not. The flavor was perfect and the meat juicy and lean. Great for Thanksgiving Dinner with your Turkey.  This ham will get you lots of compliments and you can bet they will be making sandwiches a few hours later.

Our ham was delivered in a cooler and cold packs and arrived cold and fresh.

Every Ozark Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced ham is individually hand-trimmed and seasoned with a blend of cloves, cinnamon, and other special ingredients before going into our old-fashioned smokehouse. Inside our smokehouse, each ham socks up the smoke from smoldering hickory chips for at least 16 hours. The result is a ham that is fully cooked, moist and tender through and through, with a incredible smoky flavor that goes all the way to the bone.

I have a couple of herniated discs in my lower back, so I will tell you, for the support alone, this vest is great.  If you are not used to wearing shapewear it is advised you start by only wearing this vest 1 hour the first day, 2 the second and so forth, until you are comfortable wearing it 8 hours.  I have had it on all day and I love it.  It is not visible under my clothing and it gives me a sleek, smooth look even under fitted knit shirts.  No lumps, bumps, muffin tops or bra lines.

I took a long look in the mirror and it really makes a big difference.  I have a lot of shapewear, but I have to say this is one of the best pieces I have ever tried.
