I was recently asked to pick an item from Little One Books to review. When I saw they had the Llama Llama books my search ended right there. My 4 year old is so into Llama Llama now, he even has the plush Llama Llama in red pajamas. So when I saw a new title, “Llama Llama Mad at Mama” it was a no brainer. We read this book everyday since we received it. The story is about Llama not wanting to go to the store with his Mama. He would much rather sit and play then go into a SuperCenter Store and stay there for hours while his Mama tries clothes on him, navigates the crowds and the sales and finally he has a melt down. Mama comes to the rescue and explains that she does not want to be doing all the shopping too, but if they do it together, they can get it done and have a treat. Llama ends up helping his Mama and they get their treat in the end. Of course Llama Llama loves his Mama.
