The SoupMan phenomenon started back in 1984, long  before the Seinfeld, Soup Nazi,  “NO SOUP FOR YOU!” classic punchline; there were soup lines outside of Al’s legendary NYC store.  This was soup worth waiting for, even in sub-zero winters. The innovative recipes, miraculously fresh ingredients and spices from Al‘s secret sources showed jaded New Yorker’s a whole new side of soup.

The years may have changed but nothing about the small-batch soups have.  They are still made with the craft and relentless pursuit of excellence that defines perfectionism and creates legends.  The New York Times declares, Al creates “Art, not soup.” Available at over 500 Walmart locations, over 750 Stop & Shop, 1400 Safeway stores, Giant, Martin’s Supermarkets, plus other grocers across the nation, fans  can enjoy The SoupMan’s original recipes in the comfort of their own home. Find a store near you HERE.   Follow SoupMan on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Here in New York we are experiencing an Arctic Blast of bone chilling cold.  If any time was right for a steaming hot bowl of hearty soup, it’s now!  SoupMan soups are packed in cartons not cans and they are not condensed, so do not add water.  All you need to do is open, heat and enjoy!  I have been having SoupMan Soup for lunch the past few days and I really looked forward to soup time!

The lentil was the first kind I tried and it is full of quality ingredients and packed with flavor.  The soup is very satisfying, no need to add a sandwich and will have you fueled and ready for the rest of the day no matter what the temperature is outside.

I also tried the new Jambalaya and that was incredibly delicious.  I cannot wait to sample the Lobster Bisque, Tomato, Crab & Corn Chowder, Chicken Noodle and Chicken Gumbo.  Love that I can get the soups in my Walmart and how great that I won’t ever have to hear, “No Soup For You!”  With SoupMan there is soup for all of us!  Try some today and chase away the winter chills with a hot bowl of deliciousness as you Celebrate National Soup Month With the Original SoupMan!
