Do You Use Cloth Diapers? #Giveaway-$30 GC to Snuggy Baby

I am not a cloth diapering mama and I make no excuses. It is nothing that every appealed to me. Sure the prints are cute and they look sweet but when reality hits, those adorable diapers…well, let’s just say…not for me. However, as a blogger, one focused on bringing you great products, I go outside my comfort zone to showcase products you might love. So if you are a cloth diapering mama, you just want to keep reading.

Recently I was contacted by Snuggy Baby to see if I wanted to review one of their All In 2 diapers. Again, with my audience in mind, I said sure. I have to say the diapers are very cute. I chose one with adorable owls and woodland animals on the fabric. I also pick a hemp insert. These diapers are designed to fit babies from 8-35 lbs. There are 4 rise settings, cross over snaps the cinch and crotch and bottom snaps.

The hemp insert has a removable infant insert is inserted in the diaper alone when using for a newborn. It can then be added back to the middle of the inserts as an extra soaker pad for larger babies. It took a little time for me to get the liner in the diaper but I am sure it was because it was my first time doing anything like that. You are supposed to wash the inserts several times before use for maximum absorbancy.

How To Light Up Your Music– #Giveaway

When I was younger my mom bought these awesome radios that looked like they had a TV screen in the center. She bought 3 of them and they were all different colors. Is Your Moisturizer Killing You? #Giveaway

Anyone that knows me, knows that I do not like using any type of toxic products. You will not find Bounce dryer sheets, Tide detergent, Cascade, Scrubbing Bubbles etc in my home. I will not expose my family to those carcinogens. It makes me cringe. This does not mean that I forgo beauty products, it just means that I do my research and choose healthier options. Recently I discovered Mascli. It is beautiful on the outside but the ingredients on the inside are where the true beauty is. Awakening uses 100% certified organic oils and vitamins E & C, Minerals, Antioxidants and Omega 3 6 9 Fatty Acids. It is a unisex moisturizer perfect for men or women and won’t leave men smelling flowery or perfumey.

You might expect a moisturizer to be a lotion or cream but Awakening is a mix of essential oils and so the consistency is like that. It does not feel greasy and it smells nice. It absorbs quickly and hydrates skin. It is recommended to use 2 times a day so I apply in the morning and then apply my makeup right on top. You rub it on your face and neck with your fingertips in circular upward motion. Highest concentration should be on the brow area and the jaw line. At night after cleansing my face, I reapply and just go to bed. It is really working to hydrate my skin, making it firmer and gives it a healthy glow.

How To Have Fun With Breakfast!

Are You Looking For Outdoor Fun Ideas For Your Family?

We are moving into spring, the weather is warming up and soon the kids will be out of school for summer. Are you looking for fun outdoor things to do? How about camping? Are You Storing Your Essential Oils Properly?

I love essential oils and my stash was getting a bit out of control. I needed a place to store it all so the search for a quality essential oil bag started. I recently ordered a Gogobag Essential Oil Case and I am so happy! It is a nice hard shell case with dual zipper closure and carry handle.

It holds 30 bottles of 10ml and 15ml oils according to the manufacturer’s description but it also held 5ml bottles. I love that it holds so many bottles so I can easily store it anywhere and it is effortless now for me to take my oils anywhere. Great when we are traveling too. The cases are black and available with either blue, green or pink accent coloring.

Things To Consider When Choosing An Essential Oil Diffuser #Giveaway

I love using essential oil diffusers in my home. They are so beneficial in numerous ways. I love the aromatherapy effects that the diffused oil produces. There are so many diffusers on the market and you may be confused with all the choices. Like anything you have the subjective factors like one’s taste and preferences. Large volume diffusers like this are great to run overnight or all day without having to be refilled. There are 2 mist settings-low and high, the diffuser of course will run longer on low. The lights are so nice and can be set to change colors or stay fixed on one color. There are seven light colors but each one has 2 shades of intensity. The lights can also be turned off. There are timed run options starting at one hour and going up in increments. It also has a constant on until empty when the unit will shut itself automatically when the water tank is empty.

This diffuser has nice clear markings so you can add the amount of water you desire from 100 ml to 500 ml. It also has a gentle and soothing bubbling sound as the ultrasonic diffuser works to push the oil through the water volume and into the air. The cord on the plug is nice and long and allows you to have a lot of flexibility on the placement of the unit. I truly love this diffuser. A Doll House That Fascinates Adult Collectors & Children Alike! #Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide

I have always loved dolls and doll houses. I did as a child and as and adult, I am still an avid lover and collector of both. Harry Connick Jr. Departs From His Comfort Zone In “That Would Be Me”

Harry Connick Jr. takes a true departure out of his comfort zone in his new album released today, That Would Be Me. For the first time in 25 years, he worked in the studio with outside producers on this album which continues to stretch boundaries and embrace the plainspoken instincts that have guided him throughout his life.

When talking about the new album, Connick half-jokingly confided: “It’s the only time I’ve violently thrown myself out of my own comfort zone,’ enthusiastically agreeing to work in the studio with two ‘external’ producers. The noted collaborators he’s chosen are acclaimed musical craftsman in their own right – Producers Eg White (Sam Smith, Adele, Florence And The Machine), and Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Pink, Weezer, Fall Out Boy). The result is a riveting album full of surprises and stirring musical conjurations, delivering great songs and new insights into a prolific artist who Butch Walker, himself, has called ‘an American musical treasure.’

I actually liked the second half of this album this best. I think it is because I am a sucker for love ballads. So not hard not to believe that Every Time I Fall In Love, You Have No Idea followed by Love You A Little Bit were my favorite tracks. Yes, this album was a departure from Harry’s usual style but not a derailment by any means. It is true reaching and stretching out of our comfort zone we can discover the best things await us there.

Are these the best things for Mr. Connick Jr. I highly doubt that he has reached his peak. He may say he is one year closer to dead in I Like It When You Smile but I think it is safe to say, “Harry there’s a lot of life in you yet and a lot of music in your soul!”
