Snappi | Mommy Ramblings

One of the options for cloth diapering is to use regular old fashioned diapers, called prefolds. This is one of the most cost effective cloth diapering systems, and many people swear by it! One issue I’ve had with the prefolds, is that I don’t like using diaper pins. I get nervous that they will poke my baby’s tender tummy, and I worry about the pins rusting. Well I was recently sent this interesting little doodad called a Snappi from Snappi Baby, that has made using prefolds much easier! The Snappi is a small, stretchy, T shaped diaper fastener. It has small claws at each end that hook into the edges of the diaper fabric and holds it all together, ensuring a snug-fitting diaper. No more struggling with poky pins on a wiggly baby! The Snappi works not just on prefolds, but on other fabrics, so it can be used for fitted diapers as well. I like that the Snappi is so easy to use, I can just fasten the diaper together, and it takes so much less time than using pins!
